Nothing much today.Bus journey from Hua lian to Gao Xiong. Whole morning travelling.
I think the most exciting event today is lunch. We had lunch at a restaurant right beside the Pacific Ocean. I love the ocean.
After a gd 10 hour bus-ride we finally reached the 85 tower.

View from 85 Tower - taken by a lousy camera
Then to the love-river for a boat ride (something like clarke quay). I don't like this - typical tourist trap. BO LIAO

Then dinner - lousy food again.
Then took a boat to this island called Ci Jin Island where they sell a lot of seafood. We had the famous taiwan ice kachang - which we were advised not to have too much. Ice there is made from Taiwan tap water.

Checked into hotel. Nothing much to do, walked around the streets - had milk tea, chicken cutlet +++ wahh.. dam fat.
DAY 4
Morning -
A visit to the Hakka Village. Tourist Trap again.... but some of my favourite pics are taken here.
Some interesting sights:
1. Umbrella making
2. Weird old man making music from weird things - eg. notes, water bottle. Quite impressive though! Cos he actually made many CDs out of this talent!~
Lunch at an interesting restaurant made of wood. Nice food nice place. i Like!
The nice wooden restaurant
Spot the Adrian Contest!
A group photo
One old auntie from the tour was very stressed for me as I tried to take this picture. I was balancing on this thingy in my high heels. If i fall, i'll literally be in deep shit!
Then another boring bus journey to Sun Moon Lake (Ri Yue Tan).

Dinner was Mala Huo Guo (steamboat)

The service was damn bad. I made a formal complaint to the tour guide after that and he immediately called up the restaurant to scold them. I also reflected this in the feedback form. HAHA!!!
This was wad happened:
1. The people at the eating place told us we had to hurry merely 20 mins after we started eating. 20 mins including the time used for us to go to the washroom, listen to their instructions as to how to make that stupid steamboat work and queue for our 1st round of food.
They said each of us only had 40 mins of eating time because we have to make way for another 25 customers who were waiting downstairs. HA! say that to a fussy customer like me and u will get a complaint!
2. When some of our tour members ordered milk tea, they couldnt even serve correctly. (It was only like 4 orders for 4 cups of milk tea which they came to promote.) They started quarrelling with one another in front of us, spoiling our mood for dinner. Then they forced one small boy to tell them what he was drinking. "Is it passion fruit? Is it passion fruit?" The boy was so shocked. How was he supposed to know? You served, being a nice and young customer, he drank. And he got asked in a very lousy tone - or in layman terms - 'scolded'. The way they tried to solve the confusion became they customer's fault cos they couldnt identify what they were drinking for the first time.
See?? Would you have done the same thing as I did - complain?
i'd rather drink milk tea OUTSIDE that shop!

Then we shopped at Feng Jia Ye Shi... and spent lots of $$
Part 3 of 3 later
