Never had the motivation to blog about my holidays. Cos reading my sis's blog comprehensible enough. She didnt go Taiwan with me, so i shall record all that i've done.
OH MY GOD' (her fav line) - u will not really see it here. Im not as drama mama.
Anyway, Taiwan doesnt have nice scenaries, nice places etc. I only loved the shopping. Will go back to Taipei for free and easy!

Day1
took plane to HK to transit to Taipei.
Met the tour leader. Dun really like her. She's so dam short. Everytime after giving instructions, she will walk away without even turning back to see if the entire group is following properly. I mean, come on lor, she's so short we cant even see her from the back. Even if we can see her, we wouldnt be able to recognise her when we only saw her face briefly at Changi Airport.
Met the Tour guide at Taoyuan Airport. didnt have a good impression of him either. Looks like some dirty old man (DOM).. so no pics of him... maybe one later - of him against the chou tou fu stall as backdrop. See that later and u will understand...
Went Tamshui Fisherman Wharf (yu ren ma tou). Supposed to see beautiful scenary but -
dam messy. this photo doesnt give justice to the messiness of the wharft. It's dam messy... many many yatches parked next to one another.. very strong wind.. dark sky even though it was only 4+pm. Yup.. that's abt all i can say for our 1st stop. But we still took pics. Jus forget abt the scenary and focus on the people then..
Oh ya.. then a dumb story about the lovers bridge - The brige that you see behine us. There's this flight of steps that is extremely small so lovers will take more time to climb it so they can spend more time together, walking up to the bridge. CRAP!
After that, to Tamshui Old Street. Our first trip into their streets, selling their local foodstuff. Good experience. Had my favourite MUSHROOM but deep-fried..
After that, we checked into something called Paradise Hotel aka lousy hotel. Then dinner... Then to Xi Men Ting. Quite Fun!Bought alot of stuff.. had the famous A-zong Mian Xian
Day 2Morning Call at 6.15am. Lousy breakfast at lousy hotel with lousy waitress(es).
(a) She said I could not bring my hand carry luggage in for breakfast cos there's no space. I stared at her and I said why not, why cant i put it under my chair. Then she said (in mandarin), "Ok, then you may." Oh, so when she saw me with that bag she thought i was going to put it on the table!
(b) There was no table to accomodate the 8 of us, except one that was a corner, but the light was not switched on. So i approached a waitress to request that they switch on the lights at the table. She told to sit at another table instead. Again, i had to stare at her. I told her to look around and show me to a table that can accommodate the 8 of us. She pointed to a table which is obviously taken - there was one woman eating at the table and several bags placed on the chairs and at the table. I almost screamed at her! I had to repeat that there were 8 of us. Then she switched on the blardy lights reluctantly. PUI!!! They need to go through the GEMS.. or wadever service thingy we have here.
Alright, enough of lousy hotel. Went Jiu(3) Fen (4). Also some old street. bought alot of stuff again.
After that was long bus journeys to see the sea and the mountains and the valleys. Then we stopped by this cafe in the mountains to become CAI TAO for them to DOK!! had coffee, cakes, dumplings etc.. Good way to make money huh. The tour guide claimed that the coffee's good cos they are make from the water in the mountains. WAH! mus try ar...!!! - That's how we became CAI TAOs.

Then went to watch some A-mei tribe's performance. Where the guys wear tongs only!! in their dance. GROSS.
Nothing to do at night. Cos we stayed at ULU hotel. So played pool, table tennis, squash, arcade...
