| A visit to the doctor |
You know your doctor is smoking his way thru when.....doc: so what happened to you?patient: i'm having a bad headache.. lasted for a few days.doc then took patient's blood pressure.doc: very gd. (reads out blood pressure) are you having a cough?patient: no.doc then used stethoscope and listeneddoc: very good. your lungs are clear. [the doc obviously doubted the patient's ability to tell him whether she is having a cough or not. He only believes her lungs. 'Cause the lungs may be coughing without the patient's knowledge.]
doc: are you having fever? patient: i dont think so.doc took thermometer, barely put it into the patient's ear. *beep*doc: very good. 36degrees. [is that a normal body temperature? No. it is the temperature of the air 1cm away from your ear lobe.]
patient: im losing my voice. since a few days ago.doc: are you having sore throat?patient: no.doc then pressed on patient's stomach.doc: here pain?patient: no.doc: here pain?
patient: no.[wah. no voice because something's wrong with your stomach. If you're not having stomache, you really shouldnt be losing your voice you know?]
doc: ok. i'll give you some medicine for your voice to come back. you should be ok. aright that will be all.after the 3 mins visit to the doc, patient still has headache for another 2 days and she still has no voice.
